Conscious Connected Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a therapeutic practice centered on intentional control and awareness of the breath to enhance overall well-being. When doing somatic breathwork, conscious breathing becomes a tool for connecting the body and mind. Conscious Connected Breathwork includes various breathing techniques, ranging from deep and rhythmic breaths to specific patterns, to promote physical, emotional, and mental health.

Incorporating breathing exercises into corporate wellness programs can lead to enhanced focus, productivity, and employee well-being. These simple yet potent practices can be transformative, empowering executives to reach their highest potential.

Amy is a registered nurse of 23 years who endured several traumatic events over the last decade. Through her grief and research, she found herself advocating within her community mental health system, working as a nurse in areas of crisis and addiction, taking calls as a National Suicide Prevention hotline volunteer and working as a front-line mental health nurse during the pandemic, serving her local Veterans with the Veterans Affairs Department. Amy has also utilized her nursing skills in the public school system.

Having a strong intuition that she could serve her community and beyond in a mental wellness space, she found Breathwork, which has reset her nervous system through the power of her own breath.

Conscious connected breathing is widely regarded as effective for the treatment of depression, anxiety, addiction, and PTSD (Aideyan et al., 2023).

The link between breathing and anxiety disorders is supported by decades of research on respiratory symptoms and hypersensitivity to CO2 (Banushi et al., 2023).

Individuals with respiratory dysfunction are more susceptible to anxiety and depression. Therefore, Breathwork may directly improve physiological, psychological, and behavioral outcomes (Banushi et al., 2023).
